Yvonne Postelle is a native Texan who has lived in El Paso most of her life and works primarily in oils as a landscape painter. The love of art has been a constant passion as long as she can remember. She retired in 1989 to pursue her love of art. Through her paintings she loves to show how God and nature inspire us with vibrant and dancing colors, bringing life to the most common objects.
She has exhibited in group and juried shows, served as Chair-person for El Paso Art Association Spring Show, Sierra-Providence/El Paso Art Association International Exhibits, El Paso Art Association Border II Show, Providence Memorial Hospital Founderís Hall and Providence Memorial Hospital Womenís Department, Second place in Las Cruces Arts & Crafts Exhibition, Guaranteed Purchase Award at El Paso Art Association / Sierra Providence Exhibit, Mesilla Valley Fine Arts Exhibitions, Second place in the National League of American Pen Women Exhibition, Second place in KCOS Public TV Collection 13 and Honorable mention in the Sun Bow International Art Exhibit.
She is a past membership director for the El Paso Art Association, past President and Secretary of the Border Branch of the National League of the American Pen Women, Inc., past Chairperson 4 years running for the State Exhibition and currently the Treasurer for the Border Branch of the National League of the American Pen Women, Inc.
She is presently exhibiting at Mesilla Valley Fine Arts, Inc. in Mesilla, New Mexico and currently a member of New Mexico Black Range Artists. Her paintings are found throughout North America and also in Europe.
